Both great places, we went over 2 days - don't worry :)
Pizza Ranch
We discovered this place a while back but since its on the North side of town, we don't typically go out that way. Now that John works accross the street we've gone once before. This restaurant is a buffet, they have a menu, but the buffet is probably cheaper. We came at 11:00 am, they usually open thier doors at 11:10 despite saying they open at 11. This is a good time to come as you beat the initial rush and you get first dibs on all the pizza.
The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, with a western theme.
They have many good choices, and you can even order a specific type of pizza and they bring you a few slices and put the rest on the buffet. They also have salad and other buffet food such as mashed potatos and chicken. The dessert pizza is the best.
Price: around $30 (9.99 a person)
Overall we had an awesome experience here and would give it a 10/10.
Taverna's Grill and Sports Bar
This is definitely a sports bar theme, they have a big bar where you can sit or tables too. It is seat yourself usually. The wait staff are very friendly, and the food is amazing.
This time I had the special fish sandwhich and it was really tasty, with sweet potato fries. We tried the nachos for an appetizer, and I've never had such a good plate of nachos - it had your usual cheese on it but it had different toppings such as banana peppers and olives.
price for 3 (no alcohol):around $50
Another 10/10, enjoyed it thoroughly.
